Asian Inspired Chicken Wings



1 lb            Chicken wings

1/4 Cup    deb's hot pepper jelly

1/4 Cup    Soy sauce

4T              Hoisin sauce

4T              Worcestershire sauce

2                Garlic cloves (minced or grated)

1T             Grated ginger root

1T             Sesame Seeds (optional)

2               Chopped green onion (optional)


  1. Pre-heat oven to 400.

  2. Rinse chicken and pat dry.

  3. Whisk to combine next 6 ingredients of the marinade in a bowl.

  4. Place chicken in a gallon freezer bag and cover with marinade.

  5. Refrigerate chicken for 2-3 hours or overnight.

  6. Prepare a baking sheet by lining with foil and spray with oil to prevent sticking.  Arrange chicken so they don't touch for even browning. Reserve marinade for a simple dipping sauce.

  7. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until brown.

  8. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions (optional).

  9. Boil for 1 minute the reserved marinade for a dipping sauce.
